## Free public cookie scanner

The free scanner checks the submitted page as a new visitor before consent. No account or registration is required. It checks one page, not the entire website, and does not accept the consent banner.

- Detects known tracking cookies set before consent
- Checks for a supported consent banner and reject control
- Detects supported tracking services, including Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Google Ads, Meta Pixel, LinkedIn Insight Tag, Microsoft Clarity, Hotjar, and TikTok Pixel
- Checks whether Google Consent Mode is detected at scan time
- Lists detected cookies and local storage items with their names, domains, and storage types
- Reports clear issues separately from findings that need manual review

The report is an automated technical diagnostic, not a legal opinion or GDPR compliance certification. Detection does not prove that a banner or Consent Mode implementation works correctly. Custom implementations may require manual review. The scanner does not fix issues; users can correct their existing implementation or adopt CookieFence for consent management, whole-site scanning, and ongoing cookie monitoring.
